Just passing through this time, but looking forward to exploring Aqua Fria National Monument. This area is rich with cultural sites – petroglyphs and remnants of the river tribes that occupied this area as early as 7000 years ago.

Great view along side the trusty ’03 Expedition. The blue ox is still capable.  Aside from a  flat tire on the Murano just as we returned to pavement, we luckily didn’t need to use the tow straps to tug anyone of of the rocks or mud.

This is a nice drive. It’s very peaceful out there. A crisp clear day of blue skies and warm sun.
