164 Mile Offroad Loop
Bloody Basin and Great Western Trail
We joined our car reviewer friends on a romp in the back country just north of Phoenix. If you’ve driven up I-17 you’ve seen this sign. It’s name comes from the reddish color of the soil in the region. Full story here.

This is a nice drive. It’s very peaceful out there. A crisp clear day of blue skies and warm sun.
Gold Poppys for mom. The spring flowers are starting to pop
